This full-time position is responsible for applying industrial floor coatings and finishes based on project specifications while maintaining jobsite safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Required to be responsible, reliable, and punctual
• Wear appropriate company uniform while on job site
• Wear required Personal Protection Equipment (P.P.E) 100% on site
• Understand how to inspect substrates prior to prep and application of coatings
• Understand application process for various industrial flooring applications including but not limited to high-performance coatings, flake systems, cementitious overlayments, trowel down systems, and ESD flooring systems
• Understand application process for concrete sealing and polishing
• Understanding of flooring and coating removal processes
• Proper application of moisture mitigation systems
• Follow quality control and safety procedures
• Knowledge and ability to maintain and clean appropriate tools and equipment
• Have all basic application tools (trowels, etc.)
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe work environment    

Minimum Qualifications

• Proper documentation for employment
• Basic safety knowledge, equipment maintenance, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Experience in commercial construction
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) - preferred but not required
• Reliable daily transportation required

Responsibilities

• Required to be responsible, reliable, and punctual
• Wear appropriate Painter’s Whites 100%on site

• Understand how to inspect sheetrock prior to taping and bedding
• Understand and apply different levels of finish (Levels 1-5)
• Ability to apply while on stilts (A+)
• Follow inspection, sanding, and taping & bedding procedures
• Ability to work with taping tools and work clean (Flat Box & Taping Bazooka (A+))
• Have all basic taping and bedding tools(mud pan and tape & bed knives)
