Traphene Hickman Library

This new 40,000-square-foot library, museum, and park will serve as a cultural cornerstone for the City of Cedar Hill. At four times the size of the previous public library, the facility brings expanded resources and modern amenities to the community. Features include technology maker spaces, a digital media lab, flexible event and meeting rooms, a social café with community stairs, and dedicated areas for children and teens. The project also includes a partnership with the Cedar Hill Museum of History, providing a rotating exhibition space to showcase curated artifacts that reflect the city’s heritage. Blending innovation, education, and culture, this new facility creates an inclusive and engaging destination for residents of all ages.
